The Service Advisor (Alana Hiebert) was awesome. She was so genuine and friendly. Totally took the time to keep me informed on what was going on with my car and kept me clear to the work being done. She definitely has the perfect personality to work with the public and keeps the clients smiling. Don't lose this employee. I look forward to future visits if I can be helped by Alana. She ensures confidence in the clients.
You will have repeat customers for life with a stellar performer like Alana. My vehicle was fixed with the Gold service I am accustomed to at Sunshine Toyota. Please note that I would also like to commend John Reyes of the Parts Counter. I inquired about replacing three tires on my car. WAM Collision Centre had one new tire on order under an MPI claim. John quoted me a price and let me know he could have the tires in within half an hour and installed with one additional hour. I agreed to it and he put the wheels in motion as it were. I inquired if John could contact WAM Collision Centre to confirm they were replacing the tire with the identical model. He did so without hesitation. He inquired with WAM Collision Centre as to the long wait for my tire through their location (claim put in December). John was told that there was nothing they could do for him and it was the same tire. He apologized for not being able to offer me more of an answer. I was appreciative of his extra effort. Shortly after he called me back to his counter to inform me that he had followed up further on the situation. He made it clear that he had gotten confirmation to order me another tire immediately if I wanted to wait an extra hour to have it delivered and installed with permission to bill it to WAM Collision Centre. I don't know how he managed this when WAM Collision Centre had turned him down before. I was so thankful for this amazing display of going beyond for the client. He got me the tire and had it installed in no time flat, and billed it WAM Collision Centre (how he arranged it I don't know, but I am thankful for this stellar display of client care.) Please recognize John's Golden Sunshine Service Level. I am totally in awe of the way he handled my needs and time. His consideration is greatly appreciated and has solidified my confidence in your Parts Department without question. Gold Medal to John Reyes please! Thank you!

When I dropped the car off, I was quoted $107 plus taxes for the complete inspection and oil change. I was called during the day to inform me I needed an air filter for $25 which I authorized. When I picked the car up I was charged an extra $50 something dollars for another air filter I knew nothing about. I was told it was necessary and sorry they hadn't mentioned it. The $20 labour was taken off. I am still not happy.

The only negative comment that I will make is with regard to the missing accessory at delivery; when you spend this kind of money on a vehicle, all accessories should be on the car when you pick it up, not added later. I am under the impression that this was not the Dealerships fault; the hood deflector that I ordered was on backorder when delivery took place.

Thank you so much to the Service Manager and Service Advisor for making a special trip to pick me up! I forgot that my car was at the shop and I was the last one left at work. I went to leave for a meeting and realized my car was not here. The Service Manager allowed someone to pick me up and I was able to make it to my meeting. The Canadian welding association is glad! Rear wiper makes a squeaking sound. They said they lubricated it but the noise is still there on the back stroke as before. During cold weather, rattling noise in windshield pillars carried out TSB2646 when we drove off the lot the noise was worse than before. We called back when we returned home to inform the Service Department at approximately 5:15 p.m. and got an answering machine saying that you were open until 6:00 p.m. and to call back during working hours. 5:15 p.m. in my book is during working hours since this only happens in the cold weather please be sure it is on our record so when it returns next cold spell they will know it has always been there since new. We also mentioned the terrible fuel consumption; they said it was because of my driving habits and the weather. The fuel consumption is almost double that which is advertised (17 - 19 litre/km real worlds as apposed to 10.8 in brochure). We want to be sure our concerns are addressed the problems we still have, are recorded on our file.

As I waited for my vehicle to be serviced, several clients were approached and told their vehicles were ready but it would be a few more moments as the auto would be washed much to the pleasure of the client. Is this not offered to everyone? After paying my repair bill I walked out to my unwashed car and truly that did not sit well with me.

The job took much longer than advised. I asked for 2:00 p.m. and was told that it would be requested for noon! I picked it up after 3:30 p.m. and I needed to call to find out what was happening. The initial price was quoted at $500+ taxes and the bill came to over $700. This did not sit well with me as I had not allotted that kind of cash. Kris was somewhat aggressive and missed the fact that I was not prepared to pay such a large amount of money for maintenance. I would have appreciated some discussion about doing the work in two parts so I could afford it. This bill has left me strapped for the next couple of months. I am not happy about it and know that some of the work could have waited.

The work was done on part of the complaint but when I got home I found that they had taken a tire (maybe the spare?) and the rim and left them in the back of my car where I can't move them because they are too heavy. I am uncertain as to why or what I am supposed to do with them. The tire inflation light is still on and this problem has been going on for the entire time I have owned the car. Clearly they did not understand my concern as the tire issue is still not resolved, and I have now a tire, wrapped in plastic and a silver rim both of which are very heavy in the cargo area of my vehicle which means I will not be able to set those seats up. The shuttle driver was not very happy and does not like his job also, I was given the impression that the shuttle was only for people going to work. I found my own way back.

It is important to give correct information about how much time it might take. This vehicle was brought as part of the recall campaign. At the time of booking the visit, I was told that it will take 30-45 minutes. When I arrived, I was told that it will take 90 minutes. As I did not want to wait for 90 minutes, I left (on my own as I did not book the shuttle). Then, I received a call about 35 minutes after I dropped the vehicle that it was ready for pick up. When I asked if I could get a shuttle pick up, I was told that it could be done but not sure when it will arrive. So, I had to again go back (on my own) to pick up the vehicle. Certainly, this incident could have been handled better.
